A New Year is Upon Us...Are you Ready?
What are you willing to change, begin, or end this year?
How much closer will you be to that Weight Goal?
How close will you be to that promotion?
How much closer will you be to living in that Dream House in that Awesome Neighborhood you've had your eye on?
How will you feel when you're able to take your family to that Dream Vacation?
How's all your time freedom going to feel like when you can quit your day job and work from home full time?
Each and everyone of the questions above may strike a different chord within you, as it should. If you're not dreaming your dying. This is the season to set your year long goals, and to reflect back on this past year to tally up all the Wins and Losses. Nothing can be worst than to continue down the same dead end path that leads to nowhere or to the same old place that's continued to give you the same old results year after year.
The Ultimate goal is to Finish strong, but you must have some short term goals you can track and be held accountable for through out the year. So that being said, I invite you to do this exercise below instead of aimlessly making New Year Resolutions that you unfortunately quit by mid January.
Take a piece of paper and fold it into 3 columns, one being the Totally Doable Column, second, Would be Great if I could column, and third, I might need a Miracle for this to happen. You will then begin to list all those things that fit in each column, and yes ONLY you will be able to distinguish which of your goals falls into each column. At the end of the year go back to this list and see how many of those goals you can cross off or need to move over to another column.
The only thing that can keep a Person going are Wins, and yes, even small wins count, so have fun with this exercise and share your thoughts and results below and lastly, Happy New Year to you and your family!
